On April 22, Zhejiang Swire Coca-Cola Beverage Co., Ltd. and Datang Power Zhejiang Branch signed a power purchase agreement for the purchase of 30GWh of green electricity for the Zhejiang Swire Coca-Cola Xiasha Factory. The plant’s average annual consumption in the past five years reached 50GWh. Together with the solar power generation installed on its own roof, the purchased power will enable Zhejiang Swire Coca-Cola Beverage to meet the electricity demand of the factory in the second half of 2022. Based on estimates derived from power trading prices, this change will result in a CNY 1.5 million extra cost for Swire Coca-Cola Zhejiang.
