The China Meteorological Administration released its first products for wind and solar energy short-term forecast

The China Meteorological Administration (CMA) has recently released new products for the assessment and estimation of short-term (126 hours) wind and solar power production. The CMA has notably added the meteorological elements required for the calculation of wind power and photovoltaic power generation power at 70 meters and 100 meters altitude. In the future, the CMA plans to continue enhancing its core scientific and technological support capabilities for the wind and solar forecasting business.
