Zhanjiang Xuwen offshore wind farm, located in the eastern sea area of Xuwen county and developed by State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC), has completed full grid connection. SPIC Zhanjiang Xuwen is comprised of ninety-four 6.45MW offshore wind turbines with a total capacity of 600 MW. The first offshore wind turbine was hoisted in March this year and all 94 wind turbines were installed within 6 months. The first turbine was connected to the grid in September.
