The “Seven Networks” infrastructure action plan released by Shandong government mentioning that Shandong will gradually promote the development of deep-sea offshore wind projects. The plan indicates that 2GW, 8GW and 35GW of offshore wind power will be connected by the end of 2022, 2025 and 2030 respectively. Most offshore wind projects will be constructed on the three major areas of Bozhong and to the south and north of the Shandong peninsula.
