Huaneng’s 650 MW offshore wind project in Liaoning has achieved full grid connection. The project site is located in the sea area east of Shicheng Island, Zhuanghe City, in Liaoning Province. It has an installed capacity of 650MW and features suction bucket foundations designed to cope in frozen waters.
