The Funeng Pinghaiwan II offshore wind farm, located in the Pinghaiwan sea area in Putian City, Fujian province, has completed full grid connection. Funeng Pinghaiwan II set up forty-one 6.0MW offshore wind turbines from Shanghai Electric, for a total capacity of 246MW. The first offshore wind turbine was hoisted in April 2019. Funeng has 11 active offshore wind projects representing a total capacity of 2.8GW (operating: 701MW; under-construction: 806MW; planning: 1,300MW).
