According to a sea use area demonstration report published on Sheyang’s (Jiangsu) Natural Resources and Planning Bureau’s website, the Guoneng Longyuan Sheyang 1 GW offshore wind power project will use 43 wind turbine units (h3# site area) with a single unit capacity of 7.0 MW and 83 wind turbine units (h4#, h5# site area) with a single unit capacity of 8.5 MW, for a combined total installed capacity of 1006.5 MW. The project is located in the southeast sea area of Sheyang estuary. The central point of the site is about 65km offshore and the water depth is – 7m ~ – 18m.
