China’s first intertidal solar project has achieved grid connection in the intertidal zone of the sea area near Qinggang Town, Yuhuan City, in Zhejiang Province. The project, developed by Huaneng Energy, has an installed capacity of 130MW, covering a water area of approximately 1.2 million square meters.
