Data from the Shanxi investment platform shows that the Shanxi Road & Bridge Construction Group will build 66.4 MW of distributed solar projects on the Shanxi expressway representing a CNY 340 million investment. Distributed solar arrays will be installed all along the expressway, on toll stations, service areas, and tunnels.
The project is scheduled to start in August 2022 and be grid connected before the end of 2025. The power generated will be used for self-consumption and excess production will be sold to the grid.
