Working with NGOs, such as the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF) and others constitutes an important part of the work Energy Strategy team does. Together with the WWF, for example, the ES team has been a key partner on a Low Carbon Manufacturing Program, wrote and published The Price of Carbon in China for WWF, and continues network with other domestic and international NGOs on public outreach and policy. Solving the climate crisis by changing how we all use energy requires international and local non-governmental not-for-profit partners that serve as a bridge between the business world and the general population. Working with NGOs on public education through workshops, policy documents, and public information sessions is an important avenue for changing public perceptions of the climate crisis. |
