Job description:
Azure is looking for a highly motivated, talented and experienced Design Engineer to facilitate technology transfer between a Chinese wind turbine manufacturer and international design company. If you want an exciting and challenging career in
Job responsibilities:
- Be a strong, active member of a growing team of experienced wind energy professionals, based in Beijing.
- Be a key actor of technology transfer between Chinese wind turbine companies and International design companies
- Travel to western countries to participate in design and assembly of clean technology products
- Train assembly staff in China on product manufacture, assembly, installation and testing
- Support wind turbine type certification
- Support product and assembly design optimization, verify all design changes with international design companies
- Inspect and approve initially completed products.
- Support equipment testing and field diagnostics
- Provide technical expertise to support business negotiations between Chinese and international companies
- Write reports and give oral presentations in English and Chinese at a high technical level
- Report technology transfer and product manufacture progress to team members inside and outside of China
Applicant requirements:
- University degree in engineering sciences
- At least 4+ years of technical experience in the wind industry.
- Deep knowledge of international manufacturing standards
- Experience in wind turbine assembly, installation and international testing procedures
- Excellent computer skills; at minimum excellent capability in Word, Excel & PowerPoint and good knowledge of computer programming language, 3D modeling
- Strong learning, technical and analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and adaptation skills
- Ability to work independently and as a proactive team member
- Chinese is your first (native) language, and you are proficient in oral and written English at a technical level
