Job responsibilities:

• Take charge of Policy Analysis under the “Tracker” product portfolio including writing analysis and reports every three months for publication

• Prepare ad-hoc commentary and updates on policies or policy-related developments

• Follow news developments daily and prepare “newsflash” or other commentary related to (policy, WTG manufacturing, Wind Project development, waste-to energy, biogas and/or any renewable energy or CDM related theme deemed to be important)

• Support overall writing, content, organization, formatting and presentation of all “tracker” reports.

• Perform detailed research on sustainable energy projects and companies in China, including analysis of investment opportunities and other research and analysis as required by Employer internally

• Assist the database manager and team in collecting, checking and inputting data and background information as needed

• Marketing: support website development，organize conference attendance, present information to clients. Support business development effort including writing proposals

• Interact extensively with clients, industry participants, partner companies, and other Employer team members

• Translation support as required

• Data gathering as required

Applicant requirements:

• Putonghua is your first (native) language, and you are proficient in English

• Strong technical and analytical skills; ability to quickly understand technical and financial concepts

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Solid research skills with ability to contact organizations and individuals to follow-up and validate information

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Desire to work in an international environment as a proactive team member and independently

• Excellent computer skills; at minimum, candidates must have excellent capability in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• University graduate with degree in energy or environment; relevant working experience is preferred

• Personal interest and knowledge of sustainable energy issues in China
