Job description:

Azure is looking for a highly motivated, talented and experienced Wind Due Diligence Engineer to execute wind turbine equipment and component due diligence and quality inspection in China. Job responsibilities:

  • Be a strong, active member of a growing team of experienced wind energy professionals, based in Beijing.
  • Develop specialized inspection protocol according to international standards
  • Execute inspection of turbine / turbine component manufacturing design implementation, quality control and quality assurance.
  • Keep detailed photograph and written records of issue observed at site.
  • Communicate to Clients about the results found in a professional and accurate manner via written reports or oral presentations.
  • Participate in the tracking of key component suppliers throughout the Chinese wind industry.
  • Take part in wind project development activity as member of a team dedicated to developing wind farms in China.
  • Write reports and presentations in English and Chinese at a high technical level

Applicant requirements:

  • University degree in engineering sciences
  • At least 3 years of technical experience in the wind industry.
  • Deep knowledge manufacturing processes and quality control and assurance
  • Excellent computer skills; at minimum excellent capability in Word, Excel & PowerPoint and good knowledge of computer programming language
  • Strong learning, technical and analytical skills
  • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and adaptation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a proactive team member
  • Chinese is your first (native) language, and you are proficient in oral and written English
