Azure is looking for a highly motivated, talented and experienced Wind Resource Engineer to participate in assessment and execution of many wind projects in
Job responsibilities:
- Be a strong, active member of a growing team of experienced wind energy professionals, based in
- Participate in the choice, micrositing and erection of wind measurement masts and equipment
- Collect and analyze raw wind data with Excel and internal codes
- Develop computer codes to facilitate analysis of large quantities of wind data
- Perform wind energy production assessment studies with industry standard wind software following international standards.
- Participate in selection, negotiation and micrositing of wind turbines
- Communicate on wind resource related topics with local design institutes, international wind consultants, local and international investors, and Chinese government
- Take part in wind project development activity as member of a team dedicated to developing wind farms in
- Write reports and presentations in English and Chinese at a high technical level
Applicant requirements:
- University degree in engineering sciences
- At least 3 years of experience as a wind engineer working with wind analysis software.
- Deep knowledge of the Chinese wind industry and guidelines for compiling wind feasibility studies.
- Excellent computer skills; at minimum excellent capability in Word, Excel & PowerPoint and good knowledge of computer programming language
- Strong learning, technical and analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and adaptation skills
- Ability to work independently and as a proactive team member
- Chinese is your first (native) language, and you are proficient in oral and written English
