Azure International is an international sustainable energy consulting, research, and private equity investment firm based in Beijing since 2003. Working with leading Chinese and international clients in the private and public sector Azure’s Energy Strategy Team provides strategic and technical advice to deliver improved energy/carbon efficiency and financial
performance. Our corporate advisory services include carbon and cleantech market analysis, energy strategy development, energy auditing, energy management support, energy efficiency benchmarking, implementation of industrial energy efficiency and corporate renewable energy projects and carbon footprinting. In the public sector we work with government organizations to develop low-carbon development strategies and policies at the local and national level. To implement our growing portfolio of projects and support further growth in these areas in China we are looking for an Energy and Carbon Management Consultant.

Job responsibilities:
• Independently assess and recommend energy efficiency and sustainable energy
  solutions for corporate and industrial clients in China
• Participate in and manage project teams of sustainable energy experts based in Beijing
• Assess clients’ corporate, manufacturing, supply chain or product carbon footprints
• Develop and deliver technical presentations and reports in English and Chinese for
  clients at management level
• Understand relevant Chinese and international market, policy and investment trends
• Identify opportunities for energy and carbon management projects for Chinese and
  international companies in China and contribute to business development
• Develop a strong network of relations in industry and government at local, national and
  international levels

Applicant requirements:
• Relevant university degree in engineering, natural or environmental sciences
• Over 3 years of working experience in technical consultancy in an energy-related sector
• Solid understanding of sustainable energy technologies and markets
• Experience in the area of energy management and energy auditing is an asset
• Demonstrated project management capabilities
• Strong analytical and consulting skills
• A proactive and customer-oriented attitude
• Putonghua is your native language, and you are proficient in English
