Azure International is an international sustainable energy consulting, research, and private equity investment firm based in Beijing since 2003. Working with leading Chinese and
international clients in the private and public sector Azure’s Energy Strategy Team provide strategic and technical advice to deliver improved energy/carbon efficiency and financial performance. Our corporate advisory services include carbon and cleantech market analysis, energy auditing, energy management support, energy efficiency benchmarking, implementation of industrial energy efficiency and corporate renewable energy projects and carbon footprinting. In the public sector we work with government organizations to develop low-carbon development strategies and policies at the local and national level. To implement our growing portfolio of projects and support further growth in these areas in China we are looking for a Consultant Sustainable Energy Strategy.

Job responsibilities:

• Independently provide analysis reports and other consultancy products on sustainable
  energy and climate policies and market developments in China
• Develop and deliver presentations and reports in English and Chinese for clients at
  management level
• Manage project teams: internal and external coordination, ensuring project objectives
  and deliverables are achieved on time and within budget
• Keep abreast of key Chinese and international market, policy and investment trends in
  sustainable energy and carbon related sectors
• Identify opportunities for consultancy projects for Chinese and international companies
  and organizations in China, and contribute to business development
• Develop a strong network of relations in industry and government at national and local,
  as well as international level

Applicant requirements:

• Relevant university degree in engineering, natural or environmental sciences
• At least 3 years experience in an energy or carbon related sector
• Solid understanding of sustainable energy technologies and carbon markets
• Demonstrated project management capabilities
• Strong analytical skills
• A proactive and customer-oriented attitude
• Putonghua is your native language, and you are proficient in English
